Dhrupad Recital by Sri Abhinandan Pathak

Sri Abhinandan Pathak is one of the finest exponents of Dhrupad-Dhamaar. He is born in the family of eminent musicians and has received formal training in Dhrupad from his father Pandit Abhiram Pathak. He then received specialised training from his elder fathers Pandit Krishna Mohan Pathak and Pandit Bachan Pathak. He also took traning from his elder brothers Pandit Shailendra Kumar Pathak and Pandit Shrawan Kumar Pathak in 'layakaari' and 'alaapchari'.  Besides, he won awards and accolade at state and national level. He is a recipient of scholarship from Center for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Govt. of India. He perforemd for youth festivals as well. He holds masters (Sangeet Praveen) in Dhrupad. He is also an examiner for Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.   On academic front, he holds MA in English and BEd with CTET and JTET. 

Abhinandan will be accompanied on Pakhawaj by Pandit Bachan Pathak who is an eminent percussionist from Banaras and Gaya Gharana.
