Tabla Solo Recital by Dr. Priya Tiwari

Dr. Priya Tiwari is one of the finest exponents of 'Banaras Gharana'. She took initial training of tabla from Dr. Aroop Chatterji. Later she had further training in Tabla from none other than Tabla Maestro of Benaras Gharana, Late Pandit Chhote Lal Mishra. Currently, she is undergoing advanced training of Banaras Gharana Tabla Techniques under Tabla Wizard Pandit Sanju Sahai. 

She holds B.Mus and M.Mus that was completed under the guidance of Prof. Pravin Uddhava. She later submitted her thesis for Doctorate from Faculty of Performing Arts Banaras Hindu University under supervision of Prof. Sangeeta Singh. She qualified UGC NET and was awarded with JRF.
