About Pandit Rajendra Kandalgaonkar

Pandit Rajendra Kandalgaonkar is a disciple of none other than Bharat Ratna Pandit Bhimsen Joshi. He happens to be one of the finest exponents of Kirana Gharana. He holds Sangeet Alankar from Akhil Bhartiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya Mandal Miraj. He is principal at Sawai Gandharva Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Pune. He has performed across India and several countries like USA and Canada. He is a recipient of many prestigious awards like 'Surmani' by Sur Singar Samsad, Rashtra Gaurav, Puraskar. He has been a regular performer at AIR and Doordarshan.
